Mogiana’s advantageous altitudes, ranging from 900 to 1,100 meters, along with its moderate temperatures averaging around 20 degrees Celsius, coupled with its undulating terrain, combine to yield coffee of exceptional quality. This region is renowned for its coffee offerings characterized by remarkably sweet and well-balanced cupping profiles, featuring both the Mundo Novo and Catuaí varietals.
The Mogiana coffee region extends along the São Paulo side of a stretch of the São Paulo/Minas Gerais border, known as Santos. Notably, the variations in microclimates within this region surpass the general regional distinctions in coffee characteristics. Within this landscape lies Alta Mogiana, denoting a collection of the finest coffees sourced from approximately 100 smallholder producers situated in the Mogiana coffee-growing region of Brazil.
